The company produces handcrafted, collectible glass ornaments with a large and loyal customer base. Their catalog includes thousands of seasonal products that peak during holiday shopping months.
Rauch Brands manages the e-commerce strategy and advertising operations for Christopher Radko. Prior to working with Funnel Boost Media, paid search efforts were producing inconsistent results due to unreliable conversion tracking and a Google Ads account that had not been structured for seasonal demand. This made it difficult for the Rauch Brands team to clearly understand true performance or confidently scale budgets during Q4.
The goal was to rebuild Christopher Radko’s Google Ads program in a way that supported Rauch Brands’ broader ecommerce growth strategy, while ensuring accurate data, dependable reporting, and scalable performance during the most critical sales window of the year.
The Challenge
When Christopher Radko’s Google Ads account was reviewed, several issues were limiting performance and reporting accuracy. Inflated and duplicated conversions from a previous agency made ROAS appear stronger than it actually was, which created risk when planning holiday budgets at the Rauch Brands level.
To fully capitalize on peak Q4 demand, they needed accurate data, a clean account structure, and a seasonal scaling strategy that could keep pace with holiday shopping behavior.

Conversion Tracking and GA4 Repair
We rebuilt the client’s conversion tracking to ensure accurate revenue reporting and eliminate inflated data from the previous setup. This included making GA4 purchase the sole primary conversion, removing incorrect Shopping App events, reconnecting Shopify with Google Ads and Merchant Center, and applying a clean tracking template for proper attribution. With accurate data restored, the client finally had clear and trustworthy ROAS visibility for high-budget holiday decisions.
Performance Max Rebuild
We modernized the campaign structure by launching a new catalog Performance Max, a refreshed branded search campaign, and a dedicated Black Friday Performance Max focused on seasonal traffic. Audience signals were strengthened using GA4 behavior and holiday intent, while high intent search themes and refined listing groups helped Google serve the most relevant products to the shoppers most likely to convert.
Merchant Center and Feed Improvements
To improve product visibility within Performance Max, we enhanced the Merchant Center feed by syncing Shopify tags to custom labels, improving product type structure, and ensuring seasonal or sale items could be cleanly segmented. These refinements allowed Google to better interpret the catalog and match products to shoppers with stronger purchase intent.
Budget Pacing and Seasonal Scaling
We created a budget pacing plan designed to reach a monthly target of $17,000 without disrupting campaign learning. This included steady budget increases, improved daily spend consistency, and aligning growth with holiday traffic patterns. The strategy also supported the launch of the “Up to 50% Off” Black Friday promotion to maximize seasonal momentum.
Creative Asset Development
We developed a full set of e-commerce optimized ad assets, including new headlines, long descriptions, Black Friday promotional messaging, and seasonal copy tailored to high-intent holiday shoppers. Sitelinks were added for best sellers and gift-focused categories to strengthen engagement and improve CTR. These assets helped Performance Max deliver more relevant messaging during critical buying windows.
