Google Plus Makes Cover Photo Bigger

The new Google+ changes added a giant cover photo to profile pages. As you can see in the image below, the cover photo now takes up most of the page when fully displayed. This is going to create some interesting marketing implications over the next few weeks. Nearly twice the size of the skinny Facebook cover photos, Google is giving it’s user more space to advertise their own brand, company, or personality. The new size is 2,120 pixels wide by 1,192 pixels tall.

This isn’t the only major change Google is rolling out to their users. The About page has also been redesigned and there is also a place for all of your local reviews. IF you’re not seeing these changes, be patient. Google+ have a ton of users and the updates may not be rolled out to your profile just yet.
