Looks like Google is experimenting with new ads across its search engine. Instead of the ad format we are used to seeing with colored backgrounds, Google seems to be using a new advertising layout for PPC users. The new ad layout shows a bright yellow “Ad” block next to the top 3 advertised PPC ads. We are unsure at this point whether this is a new ad format that will be here to stay, or if it is still in Google’s beta-testing phase. If you find yourself needing help with PPC a local SEO company like Funnel Boost Media can assist in making sure your PPC ads are successful.
It’s hard to imagine that these brightly redesigned PPC ads will help click-thru ratios or defer more people to Google’s organic results. Take a look at the screenshot below and let us know your opinion. Do you think this new redesign is good for Google?
